Mid Season Blues (or Browns) Tropical Kitesurfing Kalpitiya

August 2021. The dry season in Sri Lanka. The tropical sun shines bright and all of us kiters are getting shades darker! The vibes continue to be great, with a smaller crowd. 

Our trips to Vella, Mini Vella as well as wave riding in 'Donkey Spot' happen regularly. The food is great and the bar continuously well stocked up. 

You have just over 2 months more to enjoy Summer 2021. If you are vaccinated then the process is very easy to visit Sri Lanka. 1 day quarantine (possible in Kalpitiya) and after the PCR test you can move over to Kitesurfing Lanka on day 2.
