Arab Health is the largest gathering of healthcare and trade professionals in the Middle East and North African region. The 2018 event welcomed more than 4,200 exhibiting companies and 103,000 attendees from 150+ countries, and the 2019 edition is set to be bigger than ever.
With the lines between medical tourism and wellness tourism being blurred, many coming to events like this are also looking at ways to take care of one’s own health or that of their family without having to visit a doctor. Sri Lanka Tourism is well positioned as a home for wellness tourism with age old wisdom of Ayurveda and alternative medicines.
Accompanying the exhibition are a number of business, leadership and Continuing Medical Education (CME) conferences providing the very latest updates and insights into cutting-edge procedures, techniques and skills. It will be valuable opportunity for Sri Lankan wellness providers to welcome the world to a country where health is our biggest and first priority. Where we look after our health not by medication by meditation and mindfulness. Where fast foods are replaced by home cooked organic meals and where the wonders of nature are a soothing sight to behold. All of this and more, is what makes us So Sri Lanka.
