Tourist Information Office – Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau

A Tourist Information Office, is a physical location that provides tourist information to the visitors who tour the place or area locally. TIC is the vital part of the visitors experience and plays a crucial role in the Destination Management Process.
Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau operates two main Tourist Information offices at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake and at Head Office, Colombo. Tourist Information offices are also located in Kandy and at the service stations either sides of the Southern Expressway
Our friendly staff offers helpful advice on where to stay and travellers information to help them make the most of out of the trip to Sri Lanka. Also provide information on the areas of attractions, lodgings, maps, and other items relevant to tourism.
Foreigners can pick up free brochures and maps, magazines and purchase guide books at the Tourist Information Centres.
