Sri Lanka Welcomes Global Digital Voices as International Influencers Explore the Island’s Wonders

Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) has launched a special international influencer familiarization tour from 6th July to 17th July 2026, bringing together some of the most recognized digital content creators from Australia and Indonesia to experience and showcase the beauty, culture, and hospitality of Sri Lanka.

The initiative aims to introduce Sri Lanka’s diverse tourism experiences to millions of global audiences through the creative storytelling of influential digital personalities. The visiting influencers will travel across key destinations including Negombo, Dambulla, Pasikudah, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala, Galle, and Colombo, capturing the island’s beaches, wildlife, heritage, landscapes, cuisine, and local experiences.

Among the international creators participating in this tour is Ondreaz Lopez, one of the most followed digital creators in the group, with 3.1 million followers on Instagram and 19.8 million followers on TikTok. His extensive global audience provides an exceptional opportunity to present Sri Lanka to millions of travel and lifestyle enthusiasts around the world.

The tour will also feature Alec Golinger, who has built a strong digital presence with 210,000 Instagram followers, 155,700 TikTok followers, and 39,000 Facebook followers. Travel creator Jessica Stevens, known for her inspiring travel content, will join the journey with 59,100 followers on Instagram and 235,900 followers on TikTok.

Other Australian influencers participating include Ben Mackay, with 215,000 Instagram followers; Maddison Lambert, with 117,000 Instagram followers and 218,900 TikTok followers; Shannon Thomson, who reaches audiences through her Instagram community of 80,200 followers, Facebook following of 47,000, and her travel platform; and Olivia Jade Thomson, who connects with audiences through 191,000 Instagram followers and 143,000 YouTube subscribers.

Representing Indonesia, Masniari Rizky Putri Pasaribu will also participate in the familiarization tour. She has established a strong online audience with 219,000 Instagram followers, 59,800 YouTube subscribers, and 123,100 TikTok followers. Her travel and culinary focused content will introduce Sri Lanka’s experiences to audiences in the Indonesian market and beyond.

Throughout the tour, the influencers will create and share authentic stories featuring Sri Lanka’s breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, wildlife, adventure experiences, wellness offerings, cuisine, and the warmth of its people. Their content will reach millions of potential travellers across multiple digital platforms, creating valuable international exposure for Sri Lanka and inspiring future travel to the island.
