Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau was able to further spread the message to the world regarding Sri Lanka ‘s unique potential as a travel destination, by bringing down the Italian based female Travel Blogger, Claudia Tavani, under SLTPB ‘s Travel Blogger & Influencer program. She runs the popular travel blog ‘’My Adventure across the world’’ which has over 160,000 monthly users, and is one of the engaging female travel blog sites with 11 % audience from United Kingdom, 5 % from USA and the rest from many other European and American destinations. The related travel Instagram account has over 55,000 followers.

At Sigiriya

Claudia who is former human rights lawyer abandoned her academic career to go with her lifelong passion for travel around the world, stated that’’ I’m in love with Sri Lankan people, their hospitality, culture and especially beautiful nature & wildlife in this island’’. Based on her experiences in Sri Lanka, Claudia created a series of travel blog articles, Instagram posts about destination Sri Lanka covering Colombo, East Coast, Central Highlands. She had the exclusive opportunity of exploring the most highlighted tourist attractions of Sri Lanka, tasting the authentic cuisine and experiencing the warmth and hospitality which she received from the Sri Lankans.

Upon visiting over 65 countries around the world and collaborating many tourism boards (including Latvia Tourism, Guyana Tourism, Costa Brave Tourism, etc.) Claudia undertook a 11 days’ tour in Sri Lanka covering Colombo, East Coast, Central Highlands and Southern Coastal Belt.
