R P Munasinghe is fluent in English and German and has conducted over 300 tours to date. 61 year old, Munasinghe, likes guiding on flora and fauna and also the general tours and currently works for Aitken Spence Travels. 

Returning to Sri Lanka with a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Bergakade/SA, Germany, Munasinghe, joined the tourism sector as a national guide lecturer and has over 300 tours to his credit, guiding visitors mainly from Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Since 2003, Munasinghe, is engaged in guiding study tours related to tea, for the Ronneefedt Tea Academy, of Frankfurt/ Main Germany. 

A nature lover, Munasinghe likes to spend his spare time reading and in activities related to geology and mineralogy.
