The International Film Festival of Colombo(IFFCOLOMBO)organized by the Film Directors’ Guild of Sri Lanka for the 2nd consecutive year is scheduled to take place in Colombo from the 7th – 11th of November 2015. The festival promises to showcase over a hundred films which will include works of local artists as well as internationally acclaimed film makers from different corners of the globe. All films will be screened free of charge to the public at the following venues - Regal cinema, National Film Corporation Tharangani cinema, Majestic cinema, Arcade Empire cinema and the Sri Lanka Media Training Institute (SLMTI). 

The first and only, international film festival of its kind to be held in Sri Lanka, this year the IFFCOLOMBO is sponsored by the National Film Corporation Of Sri Lanka, Ceylon Theatres Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and the Okinawa International Movie Festival of Japan. In addition to the film screenings, this years’ programme will include a variety of fringe events and parallel sessions organized by the Film Directors’ Guild.  

All arrangements are presently in place for IFFCOLOMBO 2015,which promises to be a gala event with its wide range of films, parallel sessions and featured programmes to look forward to. The screening times for Colombo Regal cinema and Tharanganicinema at the National Film Corporation will be 10 AM, 1 PM, 4 PM, 7PM and 9.30 PM. Majestic cinema and Arcade Empire cinema will have screenings at 10 AM, 1PM, 4PM and 7PM. All short films and documentary films will be screened at the Sri Lanka Media Training Institute (SLMTI).One pass is valid for all screening.FULFILL YOUR SOUL.
